Tips from the locals
- Must try the local 30A Beach Blonde beer.
- Check out Patches and have the best tuna dip in PCB.
- The Florida panhandle is known for their gulf fish (red snapper, grouper, mahi mahi) and of course, oysters.
- The best months to enjoy PCB are in April and October.
- Front Beach Road can get congested and not traveled much by locals. Middle Beach (Hutchinson Dr.) or Back Beach Rd. (Panama City Pkwy) are the preferred travel roads.
- If you decide to fish, Bay Breeze Bait and Tackle will help you get setup like a local angler.
- To remove our sugar fine sand, sprinkle some baby powder on your hands and rub back and forth to dust away the sand.
- The Gulf of Mexico has the largest concentration of bottlenose dolphins found in the US waters.
- Sea oats are the plants found between the beach and the house. These coastal native plants build and anchor the sand dunes so please do not pick them.
